    No, I think the moderate voter will view Biden as a solid choice because he's been entrenched in Washington for so long. The only harm he could possibly do is weaken the anti-government/change youth vote, but that won't happen since they either aren't going to vote or won't change over because McCain is ancient. It is a very safe and smart choice by Obama.

    For the record, I don't think McCain will choose Romney. Doesn't make sense.

    538 ran some numbers on it, and Biden's actually strong in the 18-29 age range, with very high "somewhat favorable" count. Biden's strongest in the oldies and the youngins, but weaker in the Gen Xers.

    I like the signs. It's the same exact sign Obama always had, with the Biden written in smaller light blue letters under his name. Either they planned on how to make the change a long time ago, or this was a great quick and dirty temp fix.

    Is anyone else having a MAJOR west wing de ja vu moment? I look at the Obama/Biden ticket, which rocks and think those glorious bastards at the West Wing saw it coming with Santos/Leo. Needless to say this is the best ticket I could have hoped for .
