So we all know around the internet finding fellow gamers isn't hard, however in the physical realm, most people I know don't play games with the very very rare exception of guitar hero, rock band, or smash brothers . Anyone got any ideas how to meet people outside of playing over live. Playing online is great and all, but I'd like to play more with people that arn't 2000 miles away. I don't know if part of the problem is that Im 23 and it seems most people around my age are starting to fall out of gaming. Although I can't say I play as much as I used to either, but still.
Yeah. You're not alone. A lot of us know how you feel. Someone posted about this web site on another topic meetup.com? I haven't had the chance to check it out yet... damn government computers and their nasty filter policies.

When looking for people around Monterey to play D&D with I used Craigslist. Generally speaking it's a good way to find people to meet up with and do _____
I can totally see where you're coming from, my city's arcades have been gradually shutting down over the years. We're down to a horrible dump on the outskirts and a monopoly downtown who could care less about broken machines. I used to meet gamers in arcades all the time, and the competition was amazing fun.
If you can find one in your area its not a horrible idea imo.
