So I want to get a new game, and I don't wanna leave the house, because I am fat and lazy.
So I'm looking at Steam, and I was wondering how Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and STALKER? Both are up for relatively cheap and both looked good when I first saw them.
I coulden't think of another thread to put this in so I figured I'd make a new one.

i played the demo and it is like an incredibly unpolished oblivion
That being said i'm kinda burnt out on games so yeah
Um all the Half Life game and tie in, Classic and Source.

Well it was. None of the M6's are fun anymore, it takes forever to even get a half shitty rep with the other species, making complexes work is a roll of the dice and the combat is lackluster. Overpowered M7's do not a fun game make.
But like i said, burnt out and especially when i was playing X3
yeah, I have those already, I forgot RSPOD was on Steam.
And there are people on my friends list right now playing Left 4 Dead.

X3 is everything in space.

You want to lead an entire galactic economy? Lead an entire galactic economy.
X3 has absolutely nothing in common with Civilization. At all. It's Real Time, it takes place inside a cockpit in a first person view, it all takes place in one giant universe, and there's none of this research mumbo jumbo.

You're saying the combat in X3 is worse than the combat in X2? The only way to do combat in X2 is to let the computer handle it or be fucked.
And complexes isn't even close to a roll of the dice, you just have to look at the economy in surrounding systems and figure out how the complex is going to work with resources.
And rep is pretty easy if you have system traders constantly supporting the economy in a race and shoot some pirates.
Basically i'm saying at least wow had more pretty colours.
this was on 360 though, so i dunno???
Ah i played both those games on the pc, i'm guessing the mouse helps a lot in this case.
