ITT: I'm with the polygons. [Geometry Wars 2 Thread]

I've realized a few things this weekend:

• There isn't a Geometry Wars 2 thread anywhere on the forum!
• I don't have nearly enough active Geometry Wars 2 people in my friends list.
• I'm awesome at Pacifism mode.

With that in mind, I'd like to compile a list of people who can challenge eachother at each mode, hopefully making all of us improve until the high scores get ridiculous. And then improve some more past that.

Lets do it with the following format, for my sake.

I'm terrible at Pacifism, I've realized. Though what happens is that when I start the game, I typically play Deadline first to kind of warm up, and then I end up playing Deadline for 40 minutes straight and rarely have time for the other modes.

Anyone who's still playing this off and on, please add me, since right now I'm kind of cemented in place on my friends leaderboards:

Woo, GW2 thread. I just spent much of yesterday playing again, and topped four of my high scores. My best scores in Waves and Sequence still remain unchallenged by any PA resident currently on my list.

Ugh, I just can't seem to do waves very well at all. I get to the part where there's a thousand dudes on the screen and die instantly.

I've found that Waves is really fun with four player co-op, though. Three guys huddle up in the center. Two concentrate on the waves, one tries to take out any stray guys, and one guy runs around getting multipliers.

Now if only they saved high scores for multiplayer co-op.

Ah well. Same result, I guess.

I'll have to pry myself away from Pacifism tonight and see what I can do with Sequence. I haven't spent nearly enough time with it.

I haven't played in a while, but I love this game and the competitive spirit set up by the in game leaderboards. Here's hoping this thread inspires a revival of PAers playing!

That's my hope, too, Pemulis. I really like Geometry Wars 2, but I want more of a challenge!

If I have my way, I'll go home tonight and beat everyone that I can.
