How to rip audio from a website.

Hi gang! I'd like to rip the audio voice mail message from this site (http://saw5.varitalk.com/). Basically it creates a customised voice mail message but I don't have voice mail service, it wont send to my phone anyway and I'd rather try it out as a ringtone. Does anyone know how I'd be able to achieve this?

Use Audacity and set it to record "What U Hear."

Downloaded audacity but i can't seem to see a setting to just record what I hear.

EDIT: It actually seems to be recording it but at an incredibly low, turned up all the way but still can barely hear it, volume with lots of background fuzz.

Yes, I can see what you're talking about now but that menu box is greyed out on mine window.

Thats pretty cool rainbulimic but its a flash site that generates a custom audio, it just seemed to show up flash files rather than an audio file I could nab.

If you're in Firefox, grab the Firebug addon, which has a packet sniffer. Turn the sniffer on and run through the flash app, the last URL will be an mpeg you can snag, around 86 KB. For example, the name "Bill" and choice "male" would lead to:

    http://speech.varitalk.com/?app_id=459&sender_name=william&sender_gender=male&message_start=none&message_ending=none&fck=0.0206905505619943
