Hey all,

I was at the UN the other day and came across this piece of artwork...

Does anybody know anything about it? Who made it? Is it playable, etc?

Looks like it's made by a Colombian musician, Cesar Lopez, and it's called an escopetarra. Here's a brief piece from the UN Small Arms review Conference in 2006, when he presented Annan with one.

If it's any consolation, it would sound like shit.

    Yeah, sustain.

Also the materials would affect the tone.
