    Seems that they really give him a fair accounting in the film, and attempt to humanize him as much as possible.

    I keep hearing that it's a pretty fair movie but I also remember it's directed by Oliver Stone, which makes the whole fair treatment thing sound so unlikely.

    I really like the choice of Talking Heads in the trailers.

    Also in one of the trailers the guy playing Tony Blair looks a tad like Jude Law. But he isn't. Which is a shame

    I'll probably go see this film this week, if only because the person I watch movies with is interested in it. I probably wouldn't go see it on my own, on the basis that JFK was such a sopping pantsload.

    I heard that they didn't modify the dialogue of his speeches/press conferences/whatever when he gives them in the film

    and yet they are still hilarious

    If you saw Oliver Stone on the Colbert Report, he basically spent the entire interview mocking the idea that he was objective about it at all.

    You mean beside the fact that he's shaped pretty much the entire current global landscape for the 21st century, he's also a very controversial president.

    That doesn't mean I need to know his life story. I'm on the wagon as far as keeping informed, but I don't find his formative years to be interesting enough to watch a "based on a true story" movie.
