This is the thread where you post your carvings. Completely original, stenciled, I don't care!
We had a pumpkin carving party today. I chose a Dr. Horrible stencil I found online which was extremely complicated and difficult since the knife I was using was way too large for the design but I got through with only breaking two parts, one which I just left off since it still looks fine!
Jasper i was about to say the same thing. Anything someone does in Australia that is related to halloween is frowned upon. "THATS AMERICAN! NOT AUSTRALIAN" I think, hell if its fun, lets do it!
Not quite completed yet, but here's what I have so far...
I didn't have much as far as tools go, and just this much took me some time to do, but I think it looks good so far. I just need to do some more carving so it's illuminated from the inside. I'm also considering carving a defiled orange next to it.
The pumpkin is not colored at all. His body is shaved and some eerie reason that part came up blue in the picture just like it does in the game. And his head is black and yet that is untouched also other than the eyes being cut out.
There's some friggin' great pumpkins in this thread.:)
A fellow sculpting acquaintance of mine named Ray Villafane rules when it comes to sculpting pumpkins.
I met him on a sculpting forum I frequent, and I tell ya that for me, Halloween just isn't Halloween without his pumpkins.
Check these out, my mind recoils at the skill this guy has.
Well, I could post the sculpture I'm doing for my Santee in the Secret Santa, but would that be a "no no"? I mean, it's not like my Santee would know who he/she is right? I dunno.:P
On topic....pumpkins and the carving thereof. I didn't even buy a pumpkin this year, too busy with other stuffs.:x I'm enjoying looking at other people's kin pumpers though.

I paid $5 and got 182 awesome stencils from Zombie Pumpkins.com
It's cheaper than the carving booklets most people buy each year.
