1Up doesn't load

For at least half a year, www.1up.com hasn't loaded for me. It doesn't bother me too much, but whenever someone links to it or uses a picture from there, it messes me up. It's always timing out on me.
I'm running XP MCE, but I believe it happened when I had my Mac as well. I use Verizon DSL with a Linksys wireless router (W54RTG or whatever)
Open up a command prompt (aka dos window) by going to the Start menu and choosing Run... and then entering "cmd" and pressing OK.
Type "nslookup" and press enter.
Type in "1up.com" and press enter. Take note of what it says.
Next type in "server 4.2.2.2" and press enter.
Again type "1up.com" and press enter. Compare to previous result.
Type "exit" and press enter.
Now type "ping " and add the results of your lookups to after it, as seperate ping commands. You should also be able to open up those IP addresses in your browser.
If neither works, I would call up your ISP and question them on it. But first, what browser are you using? Try it in another browser. There is www.opera.com and www.firefox.com if you're using IE, also try IE if you're not (but don't rely on it, eww).
I had this problem, and used some solution (don't remember which) to load 1up.com. When I did so, it promptly crashed my entire machine, very.... slowly. So I moved on.
It's a problem with 1Up itself, some people have no problem accessing the page and others can't get on there if their life depended on it.
Blame it on the people who originally created the site, and yes the people at the site know about the problem and are in the process of getting it remade from what was said.

If it works then go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open the hosts file with notepad; add a line
38.99.15.82 www.1up.com
and it should work.

I'm using FireFox, it doesn't work in IE.
I know some other people had the same trouble before, I don't know if they fixed it.
