I have this sound card and speaker set coming to my house tomorrow via ups which is awesome because it will arrive 1 day early and I got a good deal on a good set of 7.1 surround sound speakers and a great soundcard without all of the extra do-whackies that I probably wolnt ever use. Anyways, I got a combo that isnt available anymore from newegg but I was wondering how I may best uninstall the old realtek drivers and such and make my new installation a piece of cake. However, the software isnt the only problem. I also have very limited desktop space and don't exactly know where to put all 7 speakers. Here is my current desk and we wolnt be getting a new one anytime soon because were moving to San Diego quite possibly and we dont want to leave behind expensive or new furniture...
Thoughts? I just want to make sure I can set up surround sound with as little problem as possible, and also setting it up so I can actually get use out of it without totally clogging up my desk space. I mean, its fine if it is partially clogged but not if it is totally 110% used...
