This issue was a major payoff for the Annihilation series for me. I was wavering on whether it was going to finish strong or not and this issue was the best yet in my opinion.
[spoiler:c9ceab0dd6]Yeah, Thanos getting his shit wrecked was pretty much the moment of the week. Accept no substitutes.
Did anyone happen to notice what Death looked like in that issue, though? Very interesting...[/spoiler:c9ceab0dd6]
[spoiler:c9ceab0dd6] He did'nt really get his shit wrecked though. It was more like he got jumped while doing something that was more important. I was kinda bummed that those two did'nt even get to throw down in the regular sence of the word.
Drax was a bad ass though. My favorite part was seeing that he burnt his fingers down to the bone tearing through Thanos' shield. [/spoiler:c9ceab0dd6]
Wow, what a week for marvel!
There weren't alot of releases this week, but the few majors that came out were DAMN FINE!
Young avengers/Runaways #4?
No words can describe how cool this issue was, so maybe an indistinguishable string of characters will suffice...

Then there was Annihilation... Daaaaayyyummmm!
[spoiler:d70500ed34]Thanos + Drax = Faptacular
It's not just that it was really significant; the whole scene was just done really well in my opinion. The re-appearance of death was the key. The Thanos mini going to pre-annihilation, going to the final death scene actually tells a really good story when they're put together. I almost think they should compile a "Final days of Thanos" TPB. I always loved the character, but this was a satisfying conclusion to his story.[/spoiler:d70500ed34]
GoodCitizen on
Benjamin Franklin used foil covered window glass to create a capacitor. He then attempted to kill a turkey with the stored charge. Instead, he knocked himself out. Franklin later wrote, "I tried to kill a turkey but nearly succeeded in killing a goose."
52 [spoiler:7bd0f5dac2]Ralph making Jean Loring sane so that he could stick her in a hellish timeloop where she'd be forced to look at Sue suffering a brainstomping over and over again was pretty shocking. Seriously, think back to when ICBINTJL came out, and imagine if someone had said that one day Elongated Man would be putting women in chokeholds and threatening them with eternal damnation. Note that it's not necessarily a good thing in my eyes, but it's still a pretty good mindfuck.[/spoiler:7bd0f5dac2]

See, I completely missed where it said bullet points in the first post. I thought this was happening in a core 616 book.
Alright, read through this week's stack. Fuck moment of the week, Annhilation is the book of the week. That's how comic books are supposed to be done. Anybody know where I can find a high-res of the cover art to make a wallpaper?

not that I ever lost faith in Zeb Wells. I love him so much.
I'm pretty sure it was more the horrible art and coloring that everyone was hating on.
