"new" furby

So I just got one of the newer Furbies on sale to check it out, does anyone know if they do anything neat that is not documented in the instruction book? I am getting the feeling that it might be crap.

Of course it's crap. It was "the big Christmas toy" the year it came out, those things are always worthless as actual toys. Their only function is as a substitute for love.

If you Google around, I think there are some diagnostic modes you could get the old ones to run.

Honestly though, the best use is to cut the "fur" off, and use it with its plastic skeleton; much creeepier that way. Espesically if you get some red LEDs and put them behind the eyes.

If you know Assembly, you can chop him open, replace his computer chip with one of your own, and make him do your evil bidding. There's a website somewhere...
