I just changed mine to "Never Gonna Give You Up" because I was feeling nostalgic for 2008 (already)

    I used to keep my phone on vibrate all the time, but now I just try to make sure I use a ringtone that I can count on pleasing anyone who hears it.


    e.g. I used "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins for the last two years or so. It never failed to elicit smiles.

    I use the simplest "ring" sound I can find pre-installed on the phone, plus vibrate. Unrecognized numbers get vibrate, but no ringtone. Private numbers do not get a ringtone or vibration because they do not deserve to be answered. They are the etiquette equivalent of knocking on my door and hiding from the peephole so I can't tell who you are without opening the door.

    I did hear someone with the MGS codec ring in the airport recently. That is the one thing I would use if I were to use a custom ringtone.
