Xbox 360 DVI Connection - Hi Def?

Quick question - If I get the DVI hookup for the New Samsung monitor in that Nvidia 3D package to work with my 360 [get a splitter or something for pc/xbox] will I be able to display the Xbox in 1080? I'm currently using a dell 24'' with the Xbox and it works fine for doing 1080i - but I'm using component for that.

But I don't know how you're going to get audio since you can't hook up the other A/V cable at the same time.

I think the VGA cable would limit your resolution below 1080i even won't it?

edit: it looks like that product even includes a dvi-hdmi cable

My 360 (pre-HDMI) hasn't had issues connecting at 1080p over VGA, you may be thinking of the bluray limitation to 1080i or lower over any analog connection.

You can always get a set of speakers that has an optical input and use that with the DVI/HDMI cable.

EDIT: Turns out that monitor only has a DVI port. So no VGA cable for me. And my Xbox doesn't have HDMI so that lovely HDMI -> DVI cable doesn't help.
