I think I'll make a Paladin on Ravenholdt to play when not working on my Alliance Paladin.

Do BE dudes have to have fruity and/or dragon ball hair?

Maybe I'll go with a girl instead.

Female BE paladins block with their faces. Then again you'll probably be ret, right?

I suddenly find myself wanting to make a female undead DK. I haven't been able to decide between another female orc or BE, and I made an undead earlier on another server testing whether I could make them on any server, and now I might have to do that for real... I usually hate undead but I guess it looks like it fits? Plus female undead do cool flippy animations in melee.

Here's my post contributing towards page 100.

To contribute something, I wonder if anyone else has noticed this weird rubber-banding that I've been getting since the last patch. It basically looks like someone is being bounced back and forth between two invisible rubberbands which are slowly moving forward, carrying said person between them while bouncing them forward and backwards. It's the weirdest thing.

It doesn't happen to everyone I see, but it's happening often enough that it's becoming distracting. At first I thought it was someone else's lag, but when I started noticing it on other people, not to mention that it seems to shift who I see it on, I started worrying either for my connection or my sanity.

Yeah, I've seen some people rubberbanding about like that. Not terribly many, though, only two or so. I'm guessing that their ISP probably doesn't entirely agree with WoW or something, seeing how WoW's had trouble with various different ISPs in the past.

I've just never seen that particular form of lag issue, is all. Usually when someone is lagging, I can tell by the fact that they seem to run forward, then warp back to where they were, then run in place or something until they finally stop, look around, and keep moving.

This rubber-banding stuff where they are bouncing back and forth is quite different than that because they do continue inevitably forward, and furthermore the person I see it happening to reports no oddness on their end. At least, the one I mentioned it to didn't.. the 80 DK in Clawshrimp whose name I've forgotten. I'm bad with names.

There was a blue post acknowledging the naxx lag issues and server fuckness for the past 2 weeks. It basically said, "ya we know, we think we found a fix, thanks for not burning down our cafeteria yet, we're going to try some stuff"

It was basically the first thing I've seen from Blizz owning up to issues on their end instead of suggesting people blame their routers or something.

Sadly, there is nothing the SLA we agreed to with Blizzard that obligates them to pay financial penalties for game issues.

We essentially have to bank on their goodwill for such compensation.

I'd like to further comment on the funneh of the OP. Good shit.

A thought I was having over vent with a kitty dps who is going to spec resto for our 10man was that are we going to see another set of badges when Ulduar pops? Although this kind of confuses me, because (I can't remember where I saw it) I was under the impression that Ulduar is like Sunwell...so we wont see a new tier set. But we will see better itemized gear (???) and possibly better lewts in the badge vendors? Seems to me smart money may be on banking those badges. I understood where the kitty-resto guy was coming from in wanting to get upgrades, but running normal/heroics to get him geared up would seem to be sufficient instead of him dropping loads of badges on the T7 Gloves, when we've seen that gear drop in 10 and 25 man OS.
TL:DR - New badge tokens for each tier released?

Ulduar will bring Tier 8 into play, there will more than likely be new gear to purchase on both the Heroes and Valorous vendors.

Edit: So no, no new badges. That'd be silly.

A friend of mine is absolutely convinced that they'll add a new tier of badges for Ulduar badge rewards. I try to point to him that they didn't add new tiers of badges for Zul'Aman or Sunwell badge gear, which he brilliantly retorts with "well they didn't have any badges in vanilla WoW but they added them in TBC, so of course they'll add new badges".

I could've sworn I'd read somewhere that Ulduar was actually going to further T7 much like the sunwell with T6. I don't know though, it might be due to getting off a 14 hour shift and trying to impress you guys with my gee-whiz crazy chat conversations.

I'm not sure, I would think there would T7-T9 just as the previous editions.

If Ulduar were to be T7+, that would imply another content expansion before T8, since Icecrown (and connected instances) will certainly be the T9 content.

I admit I would be both surprised and happy to hear that there's going to be another major raid after Ulduar that isn't Icecrown Citadel.

......What the hell would it be?
