Ice Pick Lodge, the people behind the poorly reviewed but unique Pathologic, released their second game in Russia last year. It was called Тургор, or Tension. A thread on Rock Paper Shotgun recently revealed that it's definitely coming to the U.S., where it will be known as The Void.
This is the first time I've really been excited for a game in quite a while. The concept art alone is excellent.
Unlike a lot of games that have the "darkly whimsical" style, they actually seem to have the talent to pull it off, too; their engine leaves something to be desired technically, but it still looks excellent.
