So for Valentines day, instead of doing the boring traditional celebration my girlfriend and I have settled on a zombie movie marathon. Now to Clear up zombie for this I mean Shamblers and the fast guys (so Shaun of the dead stye zombies, as well as 28 days later zombies). So Now I come to you all for suggestions.

Movies I have seen and loved
Dawn of the dead (remake)
Shaun of the Dead
28 days later
28 weeks later
Day of the Dead ( only liked this one, the zombie using tools was a bit off for me).

    Zombie & Zombie II

    Return of the Living Dead

Braindead/Dead Alive (best zombie flick ever; by Peter Jackson)

Oh, and Demons directed by Argento

If you can find I Am Legend Director's cut, you get the proper ending which makes it a quite decent Zombie movie.

Or you can just get the regular version and stop it 9/10s of the way through.

I enjoyed Diary of the Dead. They are the slow type. Some parts of the movie are a little obnoxious but in general I had a lot of fun watching it.

Night of the Living Dead should be watched first.

Make sure to watch the original one and not a rereleased version. I bought a copy at futureshop a while ago and they added an introduction to it which really ruined it for me.

This is obscure as hell I know, but there is this late Italian director named Lucio Fulci and his zombie movies are the goriest I have ever seen; I'm talking gory to the point where my stomach was hurting.

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002086/

I think they may have some of his zombie movies at best buy, but I'm not sure. Happy hunting!

Oh yeah, B&W all the way.

After that I'd probably watch Dawn of the Dead (original) then the remake, then Shaun of the Dead, and then... Well if you're not making out/doing the nasty at that point, it's probably pretty early in the morning and you should get some sleep. :)

Also, if you can get your hands on it, Dead Set is awesome.

I second pretty much everything that's been said (esp. Dead Alive!). I recommend [REC] and Night of the Living Dorks.

Return of the Living dead is good times also. Haven't seen the sequels but Tar Man from the first one is still one of my favorite Zombies ever hehe.

The Last Man on Earth (Vincent Price in the original movie version of I Am Legend) is a good one as well.

Die Nacht der Lebenden Loser! The US release calls it "night of the living dorks." It's cute, funny, and full of flesh-eating. But it's much better in german with english subtitles. They try to americanize the jokes in the dubbing and it's painful.

Tar Man makes an appearance in the second one.

Night of the Living Dead (Original)
    Dawn of the Dead (Original)
    Day of the Dead (Original)
    Land of the Dead
Night of the Living Dead (1990 Remake)
Dawn of the Dead (2004 Remake)
    Return of the Living Dead
    Zombie (aka Zombi 2)

That should last you quite a while.

I've heard quite good things about this. I can't quite decide whether to watch it, or the American remake first.
