Large Download Timing Out (Safari)

Hello.

I am attempting to download the iPhone SDK (1.7 GB) from Apple on a connection that goes no faster than 14 KB/S. (About 40 hours to download) The problem is that you need to be logged in to Apple's Dev Center to download the file, and it automatically logs you out after 10 minutes of inactivity. The download continues for a while (usually several hours), but then stops, and Safari thinks that it is completed, so it caps of the file and doesn't allow me to "resume" downloading. I suspect that the download stops because of the Dev Center getting logged out.

So, my question is this: How can I download this file? Is there a download manager that will allow me to resume after the download kills itself? Or is there a way to keep the Dev Center page refreshing automatically so I don't get logged out? (Automator?)

I've been working on downloading this file for the last 6 days, and once got so far as 1.5 GB before it dropped (leaving me with an incomplete and useless file). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
