[D&D 4e] Game Interest?

First, I apologize to the regulars here... yet another interest thread but I preferred not muck up another thread or steal its topic.

Simply put, I'm potentially looking to find a game of D&D 4e...mostly PbP with potentially perhaps a meeting or two a month with IRC/quick chat based playing (as voice playing can be troublesome) so we can move along a bit faster and get to know each other more. I think a lot of these groups/games here generally fail (eventually) due to the lack of knowing each other and caring to keep that group together, ya know?

So ya, I wanna get a game going... I'm not a DM and nor am I a regular to D&D. I generally have been playing Palladium (rifts,robotech) games for the past year and have only played 4e twice, both groups eventually went down but fun none the less (played with a few of you here!). Perhaps I have this all wrong, lol...but ya, any thoughts or takers? 8-)

    Add your name to the Recruiting thread (which is probably hidden on like page 3 by now), and hope for the best. Buena suerte

    I would, but that's not how I do things =) I'd like to create something a bit more concrete and solid. If all else fails, ya... I'd toss my name on a list to prob never be touched :P

    Sorry dude but you're probably not going to get much from this thread. Just sort of cobbling together a gaming group based on who wants to play D&D 4E is probably not going to happen. If you've got the patience to find a game here, your best bet is to check back now and again to see if anyone has started up a recruitment thread for an adventure/campaign they intend to run.

    It's pretty hard to put together an online game if you're not the gamemaster, as you're basically asking somebody else to GM and do all the work for you. A GM ready to run a PBP/IRC game is going to start their own interest & recruitment thread, and is more likely to check the single one-stop Recruitment List Thread than look for individual threads liek this one.

    Definitely put your name down (which will help keep the list in use) and keep an eye out every couple days for new game threads. Otherwise it's a pretty wild shot in the dark.
