    Just making sure. Some tournaments I've played in do best of 3, with alternating sides. Some people prefer white or black depending on their playstyle and opening and it keeps it more even, but more time-consuming. So one game it is.

    If I hadn't spotted the pawn capture to attack your queen, I think I might've been in a bit of trouble due to the pawns I had not protected. But again, it was a good game, and a fun one.

    They are doing this as a swiss tournament; I don't think they're planning on adding new players after the first round. Unless you mean the next tournament, which would be fine.

    Do you want to meet up sometime and finish it in realtime? We could just replay the moves we've already got, and go from there. I'm up late a lot, so we could do it sometime in the morning for you.

    First round is now over, and so far we have no draws. Overall, round went much better than I excepted, with everyone playing their matches within reasonable time, and informing me about any changes promptly. My own match was pretty horrible due brainfart and early loss of queen, but that's life. :P Here are the current rankings:

    New pairs have been randomized. Please contact your opponent, and negotiate what client you will use. After that, inform organizer about your decision and when you are going to start playing.

    Good game, Ash. I was trying my best to make things difficult for you, but it seemed I was always one step behind. When I lost my final rook it was basically over. All in all I'm happy that I didn't make any huge mistakes. I probably should have gone for the check on turn 36 though. Oh well. Good luck in the next round!
