    See the replicant androids in Blade Runner were only alive for four years, but of course they weren't programmed to be children. So this raises the further issue of paedophilia; if you are only alive for four years and your body is already fully developed, what exactly determines age? Aggh why am I even thinking about this

    That's pretty extreme though. What if you had lived with the velocidroid for a number of years, slapping it around occasionally. See you'd dominate the velocidroid both physically and mentally. It would hate you and what you're doing, but it wouldn't resist.

    It's not like clones or test tube babies have any special properties.

    They're born like everyone else. It's just the manner in which they're conceived that's different.
