In the late 90s when I was still a relative youngling I remember there were two music videos I was fond of but I didn't keep track of the artists and unfortunately they aren't that famous. Or I should say they are more like Coldplay had they made a blib on the radar with Yellow.
Band Numero Uno
Music Video is simple- basically 4 or 5 dudes running around a deserted high rise esque /office building. They are all wearing black. One of the lead singers or the leader singer is a black dude with dreadlocks. Sounds a bit like Seal but not quite. I get the feeling they were either scottish or british.
Band Numbero Deuce
Unfortunately this is another british band(there are a lot). The video almost seems inspired by All is Full of Love. Whats going on is essentially a bunch of people encapsulated in a test lab. I feel like they might have a slight mannequin look but I can't remember. The song is about
infection and of course each person gets infected, but its more sad/surreal in tone as opposed to anything horror-like.
If anyone has any clues....first band is definitely not SevenDust(they aren't european either so..)....
And its way before the time of Bloc Party (and the guy had much longer hair)...
The songs both had a rather sad alternative/electronic vibe to them.
Note: I've done a lot of google searches and had no luck. Obviously because what I have is so vague, but was hoping what I have might ring a bell in someones head.
thanks for reading even if you don't know
