The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
It's everybody's favourite; the Worgen! This sucker I did the day of the contest end and finished it with 15 minutes left before the deadline! It was a nailbiter and I had to rush some things. I spent so much time on the actual character and then with 2 hours left I realized... "Hey, I probably want a background or... something.." so that's how it goes for slackers.
Didn't win, but the real prize was testing my artistic abilities ( a new Alienware computer WOULD be nice, but for the sake of my waning confidence, lets say that's just a close 2nd place).
I like this. Mainly the foreground character is great. I really enjoy the colors on em.
The background is rushed [like you said] and it looks it.
Bad...the trees look bad, just swirls of greens and black. Although you did reflect the light off the bottom of the trees, which does help the look a little bit.
The castle/city in the background is too blury, it would have helped to make it sharper. The light from the moon seems to stop at the side of that city/castle, I would think that the light would gloss over the top more and show more form of the area. The sky looks good, the moon looks great. Just everything between the wolf and the moon look meh at best. [again you said it was rushed, maybe you can post some non-rushed artwork here?]
Also multiple threads = nono, shoulda posted this in your other thread.
Thanks, yea my biggest regret here is the background's crappiness. The rushed factor is one aspect of it and the second is I just cannot draw trees... which begs the question why putting the character in the middle of a forest sounded like a good idea with two hours left in the deadline.
I'll most more art, but I'm all over the place in style.
Another Worgen (My first rough which in hindsight, I sorta like more)
Something for a short graphic novel I was working on, sort of like a contemporary Alice in Wonderland but following three guys over the course of a long nights drug binge as their stories intertwine and such.
Anyway, Should I delete this thread and move the art?
I'm on my way off to bed, so I have no time for critting, but I thought I'd say that no--I don't think you ought to move the content. Even though making more than one thread within a short span of time is generally a no-no, this is a completely separate thing from your comics. And threads don't get deleted here, they just get locked, so it's going to sit around and take up space anyway. Might as well use it.

I don't know if its been mentioned yet, but your worgen immediately reminded me of Raziel from the Soul Reaver games, which is by the way a definite plus. Just thought I might throw that out there.
