    how screwed?

sometimes you need to tax those people that are making $Texas

I'm sure they'll be fine, daric, tell them to sell one of their rolls royces

I wouldn't even know what to do with 250K a year

like, I seriously couldn't think of ways to spend it

it'd be pretty much Brewster's Millions

They're doing better than ever. Those who can still afford monocles have to replace them every time they look at a stock ticker.

Well, ok, they're not screwed but it seems kinda shitty to tax the hell out of people that didn't go to college and worked their asses off to become successful at the same time lowering the taxes on the people who pop out babies every 9 months so they won't have to work.

Also, people need to remember that the tax increase would only be on any money above $250k, so if they made $300k, the 250k would go along as usual, but the additional 50k would be taxed at a higher rate.

    so

these people are stupid because they're protesting a tax that doesn't affect them, but that they consider to be unfair

    therefore

straight people who protest gay marriage bans are stupid because it does not affect them

so you'd like people to be taxed on a case by case basis after heaving verifying of how they live?

oh wait let's tax the people with lots of kids and no money
that's the sure way to successful taxing
    taxing people with no money

    hell yes!

It's also not terribly clear what is being protested. "Taxation without representation" certainly doesn't make any sense.

The clearest thing I've hard is that it is a protest against the stimulus bill, but some are protesting "socialism", etc.
Idaho: Boise Police Department estimates about 2,500 people marched the streets of Boise this afternoon in a protest against big government spending. Some signs read, “We the People say stop spending our money,” “Socialism: A road to hell,” and, “I’ll keep my guns, my money, and my country … and you keep the Change”

I'm just saying, it's clear that my parents have worked their asses off.

It's harder to make money without a college degree these days.

And I'm not saying we should increase taxes on poor people. I never said that. I'm just saying it's ridiculous that these people are allowed to do that.

    Good going Washington state!
Washington: Olympia: The national Tax Day Tea Party brought the largest rally of the year to the Washington Capitol. The State Patrol estimates the noon crowd at more than 5,000. There are a number of signs in the crowd: “Socialism never succeeds,” “Nazis were socialists too,” and “I am not your ATM.” … “They’ve saddled every newborn child in America with $150,000 in debt,” said Lynn Harsh, chief executive officer of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, a group that promotes free enterprise in Washington state. “What they spend comes from our households, our businesses.”

The fun thing about contraceptives is that they only prevent people with foresight and critical thinking skills from breeding. The gene pool is going to need some serious chlorine in the near to middling future.
