    They're both just SO GOOD.

    ABBA is for dancin like a crazy fool, and Queen is for getting ready to shame some folks at their own game.

    I converted all my friends to ABBA

    they had a predisposition to thinking it was some gay shit

    I told them to stop acting like a bunch of fags and listen to Voulez Vous

    I am now in possession of a video of about 10 of them dancing and singing along to gimme gimme gimme with great enthusiasm

    one of them recently just bought ABBA singstar and I'll be damned if it's not the most fun in the world

    I... also really enjoyed Mamma Mia.

    I will admit right now that the first time I watched it, I had just quit a crappy job and was alone with the volume waaaay up, and it was great.

    I also love Flash Gordon and The Highlander, which cannot be classified as great films except in the loosest of senses.

    I watched the first part of GI JOE: Resolute today. It's balls awesome. Best 80s revival yet in my opinion.
    Posted about it in the Youtube thread but I'll cross-post here:
    Not Youtube, but I'm watching G.I. Joe: Resolute right now.

    TRAILER

    They are just flat-out murdering people left and right.

    Blood, bodies, assassination. Even minor central characters to the original series have been offed in the first 10 minutes.

    I just started the bit where Snake Eyes is deployed.
    He kills a guy with his sword. Then he strings-up the body from a tree branch so the other Cobra guards will notice. When they pull him down from the tree, it pulls the pins on his grenade belt (which is hanging from the same branch) and they get a nice bouquet of explosives dropped on their heads.

    It's pretty awesome for a revival of an 80s cartoon.

    Duke is voiced by Spike from Cowboy Bebop, and as much as I like that guy, he doesn't sound like a military leader.

    Not only did they cancel the release of seasons 4 due to poor sales (how is that possible? the show is extremely popular) the first 3 seasons that were released have "This item has been discontinued by the manufacturer" at Amazon.com. No wonder I couldn't find them anywhere. I still say release them anyway. What is Disney really doing right now that's more profitable? More CGI kids movies that all look the same?

    Yeah, Disney is absolutely horrible when it comes to putting shows out on dvd. I'm having trouble thinking of anything they bothered releasing the whole set for. They usually just release 1 or 2 and then say "poor sales" and discontinue it.
    Why the hell did Disney have to have Gargoyles?

    If they had release season 2 as one volume than it wouldn't be so bad. Because no one cares about the Goliath chronicles.

    The writers fucked up Shangela in the season finale :( I'm still not over it. Why why why??!!!! Europe? For a year? Are you kidding me? Right before the finale? WHY!!!!!!111oneone. Completely unnecessary and pointless.
