    The best part about Descent II was that on the highest difficulty the endgame boss was, literally, fucking impossible.

    And it wasn't even intentional. They just accidentally used some scaling code for the difficulties or something like that and it ended up scaling the boss to the realm of Fucking Godlike.

    Oh man... I bet someone here has played this.

    Back a while ago I had a friend who had one insanely awesome game. It was like the coolest thing ever. I played it so much.

    It's name?

    Metaltech:Battledrone.

    It was like an area styled robot fighting game with ridiculously low poly-counts and some awesome thrown in.
