I had the chance to sing in Toronto this summer. Would have been part of this 5~ week program thing with a performance or two at the end. The only problem is that those weeks are also the audition dates for the opera programs here in San Diego. Plus the program isn't free. I could spend a big chunk of money to learn how to do the thing I have been doing since I was 17, give up all my work for the following year, and would even have to give up comic-con just to add an educational experience to my resume. Blagh

On the other hand, Killjoy would be 18 at the time. Ho-yeah

I have a mental picture of Canada which does not really include any big sightseeing locations. I am sure there are things there which draw people because that is how big cities survive, but I will be damned if I can think of one off the top of my head

mono: it's definitely different, i found the stuff in the states sickly sweet, and when i tasted mexican and compared it to the stuff here, it tasted identical

granted, i primarily drink glass bottled coke cause it tastes better than any other kind, so maybe what i'm drinking is actually imported from mexico?
i will have to check, the bottles have french on them though. which is usually a sign it was bottled here.

in the vein of this weird mexifrench I am constantly wondering what being multilingual from birth is like.

like I know the French word for dog, but no matter what if I see a dog my first thought is "Dog" not "Chien".

It firms up so you can cut it into little cubes and build things out of them.

For the sake of being on topic, you could build igloos out of them. Mashed potatoe igloos.

My dad worked on a farm in Canada for a while. I once asked him what it was like, and he said, "the whores are cheaper than the cows". I guess that about sums it up.

Well according to a google search of "live cattle prices" cattle futures are at 88.70 right now. Live hooker prices didn't show me anything relevant.

There's this thread in H/A where this guy has very strong suspicions that his girlfriend may actually be a secret prostitute. Finding out about this, he was understandably indignant.

There were a few people who told him that he was an asshole for judging her based on her career choice.

Could you translate ehug? I don't speak Canadian. Is that some type of beer? Like slang for Labatt Blue?
