I like the idea of moving to Mockridge. I certainly don't think I'd be as boring as Scarletwood. On a slow day Scarletwood would have no zombies, on a fast day 20 at best. Mockridge is close to Greater Ridleybank, which should make things more interesting and maybe people will level faster.
And a mall is much closer. One suburb to the east.
I'm down with this as well. What do the rest of you think?
Stark has regularly been losing its barricades since the Mall Tour first hit. Garniss, as of yesterday, had 7 zombies inside and 21 outside. Our only ally in Scarletwood, the Garniss Border Patrol, has fled the suburb entirely. Most of the buildings in the suburb are without barricades. The streets were littered with zombies as well. Scarletwood isn't particularly rich on resources, and has no Malls that are particularly close. We can't push the zombies out, their numbers are too close to ours. You spend a day's worth of AP kill one, and they stand back up for 1 AP, 6 if you have headshot. You spend just as much, maybe more AP building up barricades as they do bringing them down.
Why the hell do you people want to stay?
The best options, in my opinion, are the Mycock Building in Mockridge Heights (best building name for our group, and the suburb is great) or somewhere closer to a Mall. This isn't a fight we're going to "win".
Because it's going to happen no mater where we go, and Stark is our chosen home. Coward.

Other suburbs have a better chance of recovery when this kinda stuff happens tho. Right now the GBP are gone and with only our average level at 11 we are not going to recover if we stay. Moving out to a place more active (even more active zombies) will be better for us.
So hey, I'm joining you guys as NpiL. I went ahead and decided to be a scout, because free running seemed so nice. I'm going to go ahead and make my way out there, although the Mycock building does seem like a nice name!
Edit: Well, I started getting there, but I couldn't find a place to hide before I ran out of AP, so I'll probably be dead tomorrow. Hopefully nobody finds me.
Went ahead and migrated over to Mycock. New arrivals be advised that Club Androwes to the SW of Mycock is a VSB entry point, and the barricade plan for Mockridge keeps Mycock at ESB.

Wait, hold on. There is a building names Mycock? Why isn't that our HQ?!

We didn't know when we picked Stark.
With Scarletwood basically being obliterated, it seems like it might be an alright time to pick up and move there.

25.96 MHz: "... nearly a hundred in Scarletwood ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... the Showers Building is the only building with any lights on ... heavy structural damage ..."
Yeah I dont think this zombie rampage is over any time soon. We should think about moving.
Personally, I'm staying. It's been three days and I may be out of ammo but I just found a toolbox and that is exactly what we need to start re-'cading everything. I'm in an EHB warehouse with one other WANGer, altho I don't know if he's AFK.
I agree with Colt. This is our home. We should fight for it. But we need to be smart. Important buildings include Police Departments and NT buildings. We need to res every WANG that is still playing and get them in the fight.

Okay then setup the Mycock Building for us. But more important we need to res WANGs that got hit by the mall tour.
Quick show of hands... I mean posts. How many people still waiting for res?
Tompson building is lost. Plus I'm dead now. So I'm limping my way to Mockridge Heights. Anyone setup a RP point yet? I've got four needles for WANGs once I return to the land of the living.
I think we should probably have the WANG RP next to an NT rather than next to Mycock, especially since the nearest NT to Mycock is 5 squares away.
I have a generator and fuel can for Mycock, too. I'll make my way over there tomorrow and make it habitable if it isn't already. I've posted on the Cricca Nostra talk page saying we're coming over.
I recommend our RP be Beavis Drive 1N of the Culling NT in Brooksville, which is 5SW of Mycock.
EDIT: Actually, I'll bring up Culling before Mycock if it needs it. Anyone wanting a revive, shamble over to Beavis [37,63].

If the radio frequency on the Urban Dead Wiki is still current, I can also set up a Radio Transmitter.
Okay, who's still near Stark and needs a rez? I have about 5 syringes so I can stab a few of you before the trek to Mycock.
Digitalwolfe is standing outside the Thompson Building (NT) three steps east of Stark. I wasn't sure if we were leaving or not so I've been killing the zeds sieging it.

What is this I don't even.

Sweet, Mockridge is about half the distance from where I am than Scarletwood.
ANNNND Dead again. I went to lunch, came back, and dead. Awful.
What level were the 'cades on the building you were hiding in? I didn't realize they were this nasty. If I get a rez I'm just not going to stand up till I have the full 50 and can break for a different suburb.
I left Scarletwood, was heading towards Mycock. I'm in Wray Heights, I was jumping through buiildings and apparently got "lucky" and ran out of action points jumping to a building with no / little baracades. Went to lunch figuring I'd be ok and would have 2 AP when I got back to make sure I was safe, and instead got killed.
So I guess I learned to never let yourself run out of action points. I'll head over to the new RP tomorrow, since I need 10 AP just to stand up.

I'm probably really close to you. If you let me know where you are I can tell if you I can rez you later today.

I'm laying outside the Cherington Bldg in Wray Heights. There are 6 zombies NE of me in a junkyard, I assume it was one of them that killed me. I figured out what I did -- I must have clicked a junkyard or something thinking it was a building and ended up outside. That's what I get for playing this at work.

You have my full support!
According to the Wiki another group has claimed Mycock, we should probably chat with them about sharing it.
And if they come back, too bad!
Mrh!

Bah, I'm sorry. I am far away from you
I also messed with our wiki page a little, just to show we've relocated.
You wanna change the Scarletwood/Mockridge Heights pages, or should I?
