iPod Touch Games

So, I'm going to be acquiring an iPod Touch tonight, and I was curious what you guys would recommend game/app wise? There are tons of lists out there, but most of them are out of date or spam, and generally I find that I agree with the consensus of these forums when it comes to gaming, so I hoped I could receive some sage advise.

    You can get Rogue for free.

    Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is pretty good if you've never played the PSP/DS/Wii/PS2/XBLA/PSN/GE Trifection Oven version before. It's kinda expensive for an app though, when I bought it was $6.99.

    Word Fu gets the most plays from me, and it was only $1.99 when I purchased it. Prices tend to go up and down on apps though.

    Peggle is coming soon though! So that will be amazing.

    Is the App version of PQ less buggy than the PSP/DS versions? And is it full featured?

    No, its just as buggy if not worse. I rarely get the battle music. But otherwise, it seems full featured to me.

    Know what else you should look into? Oregon Trail. They added a bunch of other minigames, new graphics, lots of funny little lines and such. Well worth what I paid for it.

    Also, get Space Deadbeef.

    Ha, yeah, my fiance saw Oregon Trail and demanded I download that when the time comes. And thanks for the tip on PQ. I looked it up, and I was interested since it had the Expansion built-in, which I never got to play, but if its more buggy than the DS version, then eh.

    Do you have v1.0, or did you get it after the supposed fixes that came with 1.1?
