Here is how Recruit-A-Friend works. It's all very well described on the WoW site, so quit being confused illiterate dummmies:
Account B is created, referencing Account A as the recruiter.
Any same-level characters on accounts A and B get triple XP when they are together (before 60).
For every 2 levels earned by a character on Account B, that character can grant a free whole entire level to any lower-level character on Account A.
Also any character on A can summon any character on B once per hour, and vice versa.
Any more questions should be directed to learn to read.

Whoever said Mimiron was nerfed is wrong, it's still a hard enough fight and is really awesome.

Someone was saying he hits for a pittance now, though. The fight was initially difficult because it wasn't just some clusterfuck with adds that could be AoE'd, you had to handle the adds separately and kite the assault bot. Now you don't.

Holy healing is more AOE, with bigger flashier spells. It's not as focused.

Disc is more about prevention, with a big emphasis on power word shield and suppressing damage.

I guess it's damage control versus outright healing.

I can't really describe holy healing, not having much experience with it, but as far as straight up class roles a Holy priest is a raid healer. They can tank heal, but never to the extent of a holy paladin.

Disc, on the other hand, is basically what Meiss said. They can heal tanks better than holy priests, but their real raid contribution comes largely in damage mitigation and healing speed. No class in the game, with the exception of a druid using his Nature's Swiftness cooldown, can beat a disc priest in reactionary speed healing. Fully glyphed, talented, and with naxx 25 gear, Power Word: Shield will absorb around 7.5k damage. It'll heal about 1.6, 1.7k, will be on a GCD of 1 second with no other cooldown, and will provide a raid wide buff of 3% damage reduction. Using this often in raid-damage heavy Ulduar bosses prevents shitloads of damage overall.

That isn't even taking into account Divine Aegis, which is a shield for 30% of a critical heal and stacks not only with PW: S but also with itself. Over the course of any boss fight you're preventing huge amounts of both tank and raid damage, and fully able to respond to any spikes with Penance, which is a nearly free, normally 15k heal on a 6.4 second cooldown. If you use it after casting PW: S, it takes about 1.5 seconds to fully channel.

i've tried pugging ulduar for hours, and the only groups that form are more exclusive than this guild.

Progression isn't exclusivity. People have to learn shit before they can start teaching or we end up dry humping everything not once but twice a week. We still have people who can benefit from 10 and 25 man Naxx for either main spec or off spec gear. The only way we are going to get them through it and get enough people ready for more groups in Ulduar is by some of us who have run Naxx to death step up and help out.

I'll be there on Friday for the 25 man attempt. I hope some of you do the very same.

You or anyone else in the raid can go back and do it, but you have to be the group leader. You can't join a different raid ID or an unsaved instance.

I'm having alt ADD. First I had a druid who I'd furiously leveled to 30, but I just played him last night, and it was all ugggghhhh.

Then I picked up my old DK, and pumped him up to 70 and Northrend, but I haven't touched him in a couple days.

Then yesterday I was running around on my paladin and really enjoying things.

I wish I could give my priest like 30 levels to just get to shadowform and stuff already. Low level priesting sucks.
