I love my PSP. I just wish they would put more PS1 games on the store. Apparently, they're going to, I know Capcom's saying a bunch of stuff about putting a ton of their old games and whatnot on the store, but it's just a matter of it getting there. I played the fuck out of Suikoden, since I was able to do so for six dollars. I would gladly do it again for the likes of Xenogears, FF#, Breath of Fire 3&4, etc.

S'far as Disgaea news, Disgaea 2 was actually the first of that series that I played. So it'll be cool getting it again and getting extra stuff.

Basically, it boils down to: Will you want to hack/mod it? If yes then early 2000 since 3000s haven't been hacked widely. If you don't care either way, then just grab either. From memory, the other differences aren't too dramatic.

The original was the story campaign about the fall of Big Boss after the events of MGS3.

Then they released 'Portable Ops+' which is basically just multiplayer content. Portable Ops proper is much rarer now.

I love my PSP. I got the Madden bundle for Christmas. I went out and got Disgaea and Star Ocean: First Departure. I love them both. I need to get the second Star Ocean for it now though.

also i just picked up liberty city stories (yeah yeah I know old news) and I'm really enjoying it. it's amazing how close it is to the PS2 version. I'd love to see what other ports/revamps of PS2 games they could manage. This thing is way more powerful than people give it credit for.

The battle system's fun, and I do love Fujishima artwork.
