Flash games and time wasters and joke option Larlär, o my!
A game I've been having a heap of fun with is Alphabounce
It's basically just a Breakout clone, but with a story and massive overworld and missions to complete.
Unfortunately it's pay to play for the most part, you get about 15 games when you sign up then 3 each day for free, but you have to spend money to play more (which I'm not prepared to do)
I love the idea of turning classic arcade gameplay into a larger game like that though, when I decide to get back into game programming I'm totally going to steal that.
Hey, so there was a game. That I think was azumanga diao based, where you like threw a dude, and he bounced off chicks and the goal was to get him super far.
naw i played that one before, it was pretty interesting as a gameplay experiment, aside from the retarded opinions spewed within and overall 16-year-old 4channer vibe it gives off

Some one link that
i remember this
you crash into him on your bike or something
there's a bunch of other games like it too

I get the concept, and I understand that, Tossrock
but either my brain doesn't work how it wants it too or it really is just trial and error, and after two or three plays I feel like I could get it in one or two more, but I'm also just tired of watching it

It's not that hard
If you want a hint, start with the humans, and make sure they're doing something every "turn"
part of it is that you can't always figure it out logically - like, when it punted the little flying dude into my inventory, I had no idea that would happen and couldn't've been working towards it
not that they're not fun and super ingenious games, I've just seen them linked a few times and have never had the patience for GrowCube
GrowTower only has like five variables and one of them is super obvious, so that helped a lot
Short platformer with an interesting mechanic that gets introduced halfway through. Excellent music and ambiance, and one of the better uses of Greek mythology.
I can't get up the fucking flagpole. Yes, I get you have to jump against it.

I've done a little Flash programming, is all.
Somebody mentioned earlier in the thread though that Kongregate might start attaching your savegames to your account, which would be really cool.

every level you do the same damn thing, and your reward is some moderately amusing philosophical joke

At least my post tells you what it is and links you.
Edit: Damnit fallout.
?
What spring does with the cherry trees.
there's one permutation that will give you 100% progress as indicated by all the objects being level max once you've used them all.
The idea is to play through multiple times, seeing how they interact and using that knowledge to find the one correct sequence.

edit: this was for AMP'd
I just don't care enough to work to see that pretty ending video
I think I got the tower one on my own, though

Any ideas?
