I personally host a game every 2 weeks, which gets from 15-35 people.
Not huge pots, but generally a pretty fun game.
I've also been to a new casino (Snoqualmie) recently and plan to go back.

I play at a friends home game every couple weeks, sometimes I venture online.
The home game we alternate between tournament and cash games. Pretty fun, generally just a full table, ~9-10 people, all friends. Couple of donks with big wallets to get more money on the table.
I'm pretty average really, too lazy to try and properly learn all the math.
I managed to get quad aces at the last home game, doubled up. Best hand I've ever had.

But in all actuality, I love poker. It is so much fun playing dealer decides what type of poker you are playing. I grew up playing with all of my dad's old cops friends, I learned a lot about poker from them.

It doesn't matter if they know more than me. Other than the mathematical side of poker, the other half is a mix of observation and control. By having all that shit on they get to forgo control and limit the other players ability to observe.
