So since I'm almost done, here's some thoughts from someone who's played UTK1, New Blood, and some of UTK2(bleh).
-Fantastic story, probably the most realistic and gripping yet.
-Gameplay is fun, but the only real challenge is in First Response. I bet Specialist Difficulty changes that, but in New Blood, standard difficulty was harder than this. That's no big deal though, TT isn't exactly easy as it is.
-Naomi is the bestest. I almost want to play SO for more of her.
Gameplay wise, New Blood is probably my favorite, though I didn't really care about any of the characters. They're good enough to keep the story going, that's about it. TT's are compelling.
The endgame chapter is awesome stuff for the most part, especially Naomi's.
The only quirk I had with unexplained events was in Forensics 5.
No breakdown of the Mad Bomber's cycle, like how the athlete died and all that.
I briefly thought his boss was the killer, since she seemed suspicious, and could've easily busted his security.
+ Lots more variety than previous games in the series
+ First Response, Diagnostics, and Forensics were all awesome additions to the game
+ New visual style is great & makes cutscenes more interesting to watch
+ Much more accessible, while still having plenty of hard challenges for the expert players to strive for
+ Great value - $40 for a game that took me a little over 20 hours to beat in normal mode, with an unlocked hard mode and unlockable medals/achievements to try to get that add a lot of replay value
+ Quite possibly the best uses of the Wii controls of any game I've ever played
- Story felt conflicted. On the one hand, the medical stuff seemed more realistic than previous games, however the story was even more farfetched
- Although there was a good amount of variety between characters and between levels, the game did suffer from repetition at times (particularly in the Orthopedics chapters)
- Endoscopy is a pain to control
- Give me more! Although the game as a whole is plenty long, since everything is divided amongst the different characters, any one character probably only has around 6-10 stages. Undoubtedly, you're going to be left wanting more time with your favorite characters and less time with the ones you dislike.
Overall verdict: Fantastic game. Easily one of the best games on the Wii to date.

Naomi needs her own game, maybe on the DS, as an adventure game.
I do wish that you could save her levels and come back to them later, since they are like an hour long, unless you cheat.
Also: New Blood is really damn hard on single player, any difficulty. The Skin Grafting level can go suck a dick.

Er...you can. (Diagnostics too.) The option's somewhere near the laptop. The one caveat is that you can't attempt any other levels between the time you save and the time you load, or you'll lose the save data.

Right, which is the problem

Just finished it. Very, ridiculously easy, but epic.
The end credit music was amazing. A song with lyrics I speak, finally. :^:
Also, unsurprisingly, Shoji Meguro and Kenichi Tsuchiya were both involved in the OST.
The ending was perfect.
Naomi's voice acting perfectly hit the 'aww' note.
The next game better be all about Naomi becoming the best surgeon ever.
Looks like there's a ton of fun stuff waiting in NG+, especially the Extra Recordings.
Think like the bonus dorm videos from Persona 3: FES.
Definitely agree with the people who are saying Naomi needs her own game. I'd also pay for a continuation of Gabe and RONI and the diagnostic game, although it is a bit too simple so far (only gotten to the third diagnosis scenario). The dialogue between the two of them is hilarious.
I expected Trauma Team to be a somewhat tired sequel, the fifth of a something that surely was tapped for all its best ideas by now. Not the case. Whatever you may think of Japanese-developed surgery games that involve macho surgeons and delicate ladies.. whatever you may think of a game that looks like it could be a bad anime or a bland third stab at the Wii ... think again. This game takes chances most games on any platform don't. It plays well, tells a good story in a great way. It should be on best-Wii-games lists. It makes the cut. Easily.

So last I checked this game still has no set release date for Australia.
So last I checked this game still has no set release date for Australia.
It's one of those games that really suffers by being published by Nintendo in Europe/Australasia. Unless I'm mistaken, Nintendo games are usually only released in Australia after the European release date - and the European release has been massively held up by 1) the previous 2 games in the series being released a full year later than everywhere else (and this may set precedent), and 2) there being even more text to translate this time.
It's incredibly frustrating, but frankly I haven't even bought Galaxy 2 or Sin & Punishment 2 yet, so they can take their time if it ultimately results in the game being available to all territories.

Yeah, I know, Atlus is kinda the wrong company to follow closely when you live in PAL regions. And Nintendo...
Bottom line, I don't have a shortage of games to play at the moment, but damn do I enjoy the TC games.

They're also doing a promo run with some limited edition phone and library cards.
She looks kind of like Persona 4's Yukiko with the glasses.
Uh, might want to spoiler that fifth one, borderline NSFW and all.
Not Safe for WIFE. Guess who was looking over my shoulder when I clicked into this thread.
Luckily, she's more well-versed in anime/otaku type stuff then I am, and totally knows how it is.

It's good stuff, kind of has the feel of a Trauma game to it.
