Close Calls With the Law

Just got home from the police station where my cousin was charged with DUI. I honestly think that if he hadn't decided to speed in excess of 100 mph the cop wouldn't have pulled him over. I got away with no charges by having a clean record and complying with the officers. Plus I will get a good laugh out of it when I take him to pick up his car tomorrow.

The most interaction I had with the Cops were when they asked if I was drinking, and if anyone would pick me up, woo.

Have any of you had close encounters with Law Enforcement Officers?

(And he totally had this coming, and I am an idiot for riding passenger with him.)

    It is no excuse but I was way worse off then he was and he was supposed to be the DD!

    Man once I was on a bus with a concession ticket for students but I didn't have my student card with me and some police officers were about to board the bus and I was all "Oh shit they are going to catch me in the middle of this most heinous crime fuck fuck fuck" but they didn't get on the bus! Adrenaline pumping! Heart racing!

    Absolutely, and I don't drink when I DD. I thought he would do the same. We were at a club, and the only time I saw him was when we entered and then 5 minutes before we left.

    I nearly sped through an amber light the other night. I decided not to, and just as well, because there were cops sitting at the lights.

    Still, even if they pulled me over, I would have started spraying my AK.

    a friend of mine stole a wheelchair from a hospital

    it was a terrible deed to be sure, but we had a lot of fun with that wheelchair

    I thought we were all just agreeing that drunk driving is pretty reprehensible and then talking about petty crimes nobody really cares about but make for moderately interesting stories.
