____________________________________________________________________________Moon looks interesting, and I'd like to see how they handle everything in
Food, Inc.
Not many a blockbuster this month. Do you plan on checking anything out?
Posts
but hey, every so often you gotta release some dog shit.
am I remembering wrong?
Well, Moon, but it's limited which means that it won't be in a theatre for 250 miles from me.
Switch: 6200-8149-0919 / Wii U: maximumzero / 3DS: 0860-3352-3335 / eBay Shop
Because dayumm.
Alternatively:
edit: After watching the trailer, I'll have to take that "yeah, alright" back. No. Just no.
Moon
and possibly Food, Inc, since I've been strongly considering a switch to a Vegetarian or Vegan diet.
Saw an early screen of the Hangover on Monday, and I fucking loved it. And if there's any justice to this world, this will be one of the better grossing movies from the summer.
As for Zach, he steals the movie, just like Will Ferrel stole it in Old School.
I'm hearing nothing but good things for both Moon and The Hangover. Even though it's summer, it doesn't have to be a blockbuster to count. Go see them just because you might get to see a good movie for once.
And there should be a law against Nia Vardolos. As The Onion already mentioned, the fact that she has an Academy Award nomination and Harold Ramis doesn't should have been on Obama's first-100 days list of things to undo. Get to the Gitmo thing whenever.

Transformers I'll be seeing, and I don't care what anyone says, it's going to be awesome. MICHAEL BAYSPLOSIONS style.
Moon sounds intriguing, and Dead Snow has nazi zombies? That might put a ticket in my hand no matter how bad it looks. Or is.
And yes, I will most definitely be seeing Transformers 2.

His money pit must be bigger than I thought because why in God's name would someone like that do like 5 kid's movies in a row
I think it might end up being a bit better than The Notebook as well since the story itself is better.I don't understand why everyone went ga ga over the Notebook when it was just the same story about choosing love over wealth, but with a slightly more interesting framing device.

I did not see the notebook and I don't plan on seeing My Sister's Keeper. Nor do I plan on seeing The Stoning of Soraya M.
A good plot/story is always important, but in my mind:
A comedy and it's actually funny? Great!
An action/explosion movie with sweet action/explosions? Great!
A sad depressing movie that is really sad? um...so what?
Sad movies have to be that much better than other movies, because simply being good at being sad is not enough.
A ton of my friends want to see Transformers, but I'm pretty meh about it.
For that matter why does my beloved Steve Martin?
In general, though, I think him and Steve Martin just don't care about anything but paychecks anymore.

I miss the 80s in general, lots of great films that are being bastardised as we speak.
Where is Escape From Eart, Kurt? Where is it!?
EDIT: just looked at his IMDB and was surprised that he helped write "Traitor". That was a good movie.
I might see Year One just because the preview made me laugh... But my worry is that all the funny parts were in the preview.
The trailer had exactly one funny part - "MATT LAUER CAN SUCK IT." Apart from that the movie looks like complete and utter garbage.
I will so watch the shit out of Transformers though.
If this happens I will lose all faith in humanity.
Land of the Lost just looks dumb, Ferrel has been doing the same schtick so much yet people still go and see his movies. Though I guess its worked for Denzel his whole career too. So many one note actors.
I'm locked into transfomers due to wife obligations.

I had to force myself to watch Transformers a few weeks back. It was terrible. I can't find one redeeming thing to say about the first film that isn't Megan Fox. Needless to say I have no desire to see the sequel. I wish GI Joe didn't give me a sinking feeling that it will be the same (what the hell is with the power armor?).
Well, hearing Optimus Prime again was pretty nice, but agreed, the first movie was basically carried by Megan Fox's inconceivable hotness.
I watched it and it was OK at best but beating TDK? TDK which broke records and beat Spider-Mans record? Transformers was never that good, Ive not even noticed the hype but this is what analysts thing (It apparently has a head start from a wednesday, TDK started friday or something) but this CANNOT happen.
Or it will mean more army related transformer sequels featuring the hot piece and unrecognisable hunks of metal hurling themselves at each other.
GI Joe is going to be so bad. So very, very bad.
