Lookouts, Automata, Jim Darkmagic, what?

What???

I don't see a thread on this. Why?

Anyway, I have only one thing to say. Lookouts and Jim Darkmagic look silly, like you can make some sort of satire out of them, something decent but for the most part just a big running joke. Automata, on the other hand, I actually took and ran with the moment I saw it; my mind quickly began to diagram a skeletal universe, into the future and past, and build around the premise given. It seems to me that you could in fact write a very deep, serious, and complex storyline spanning volumes across what little was drawn out just in the teaser presented to us.

Anyone else have any interesting thoughts on these three things?

People call me Wood Man, 'cause I always got wood.

    Newspost, silly-billy.

edit: Misread the intent of your post!

I think the new comic thread is pretty much the thread for this discussion, but I personally prefer automota as well.

Automata doesn't really impress me. The presentation could make it, certainly, but the concept itself isn't exactly terribly original.

I guess its the best concept they put out, but I think Jim Darkmagic could be fun

Anyone that thinks a noir comic about robots in trenchcoats wouldn't win poll on the internet is an idiot.

See, I figured there were more than enough LOTR/D and D nerds to push Lookouts through.

Very happy to see robots winning.
