Nerd Manufacturing - Building the Arcade Stick

So I finally began planning out the construction of an arcade stick. I am an absolute noob when it comes to wiring, sawing, etc - but I've always wanted to build myself a durable arcade stick with great parts.

I put in my order to LizardLick.com:
-Sanwa JLF-TP-8T Joystick

-Seimitsu PS-14-KN buttons (i didnt like the odd neon colors they offered for the Sanwa buttons)

-Happ Player Imprint 1player/2player buttons (for start, select, and PS)

-AXISdapter for wireless sixaxis PCB board connection. I figured if i do this thing, ill do it right.

Anybody have any ideas how best I can organize myself? I haven't bought any wiring or crimps yet, and I have no idea what i want to do for a box casing. I was looking at plexiglass layers as I want it to be totally see through - no designs, etc. Found this site - http://www.estreetplastics.com/ for materials, but I'm not sure about thickness, how plexi cuts, if there will be cracking, etc.

My friend's dad (friend is also building a stick alongside of me) has all the powertools a man could ever need, so I should be covered in that department.

I'm getting pretty excited, but definitely nervous since I don't really know what I'm doing. Anybody here done something like this? Word of advice?:P Thanks fellas

    Have a look at:

Sorry I don't really have much to add myself. I just bought an X-Arcade stick instead of building my own.

The easy part is soldering/putting the pieces together. The hard part is the box.
