    I made a good dinner tonight, I think

    fried some sweet onions, put those aside

    got some cheap steak, rubbed it with a brown sugar/chili powder mix, fried those in a pan

    then threw the onions back in there and cooked them for a few minutes so the melted brown sugar/chili powder mix cooked into 'em

    ate the steak with onions on top, daaamn tasty

    I have to work tonight, so I can't go see fireworks or anything

    now, my family, especially my mother the nurse, tend to end up working on holidays

    so my family is going to have our independence day get together/fireworks bonanza/massive Uno game on the fifth

    but I am also working that night

    :(

    These steaks were like... $8 for 5 of them

    I want to try cooking with good meat eventually but I figure it's probably best that I cut my teeth on cheaper stuff first
