Yeah, you'd think they would at least use night elf character models for the druid sets ... a female druid would look rockin' in that set, I'd wager.

Male night elves have the same problem as male humans, however.

So, I'm 68 now. Stay in Outland or head to Northrend? Purely from a xp/quest perspective.

If you choose to stay in Outlands until you're 70 (to get more quests available at 80 for free golds, for example), go in Northrend anyway to grab the first quest weapon you can.

I do think the horde stuff looks better, although some classes (even horde side) would gain from having less silly colors.

I'm overall content with horde warlock, although I wish I could see how big the shoulders are on someone other than an orc.

MMO Champion has this retarded policy in place, which I assume artificially generates page views, where their first previews of things are male orcs and humans no matter what. Then they actually display things on races that can wear the stuff along with gender.

It might be why they only do two different races. (They tried with all blood elves once, and people complained.)

I dunno, reason could be that, or the amount of work it takes to get the textures/models (although, I doubt that's it.)

If they're using the wow model viewer, it's really easy to change races. Easy enough that there's no excuse to have humans in druid armor. That always looks the silliest to me.

If they were doing that, they should have put a Draenei in the shaman armor, and used Tauren and Night Elf for the druid armor. Of course, then they'd also have to change Alliance hunter and Horde priest/mage as well.

Or they could just default everything to female gnome and see how that works.

Well, that was just weird. I landed at Thorium Point, with "Corpse of Sgtsbedk" at the landing point. As I'm riding toward MC, I do a /who to see if I can screenshot it for the names thread, and nobody by that name is online. So I turn around and go back there, and the body has disappeared. And another /who shows that they're still not online. So how'd they disappear? You'd think maybe, with that kind of name, it was a trade channel gold spammer that a GM got around to deleting, but what kind of spammer ends up taking that kind of name all the way to a level they can reach Thorium Point with?

Coliseum is a bit of a rush job, so they cut down on designing two sets by having all armor types look the same and dividing the factions. So eight sets rather than ten.

And humans are frequently used as the basis for armor concepts, if the art books are any indication.

Finally finished soloing every boss in MC. Geddon was the really hard one, had to get up to 408 shadow resist, go prot spec, and hope that the RNG liked me. Majordomo was surprisingly easy, as his adds are all still level 60-62 and went down to ret mode easily. The only trick with Ragnaros was standing here (not my screenshot) so that I landed 1) in lava, and 2) on a side of the island where I could jump back on easily.

And Rag dropped 113 gold, a nice amount when soloing. Also picked up Bonereaver's Edge and Finkle's Lava Dredger.

www.mmo-champion.com is a hell of a lot better than wow insider for stuff like this. They are the ones that actually go through the files and get this stuff. Wow insider is kind of... goofy. They are basically the "WILL THIS CAT GET DOWN FROM THE TREE? FIND OUT... AT 11" of wow news.
