Attn: DMs with iPhone/iPod touch - A request for help and free stuff :)
I've been working on a project that I had the astute pleasure of talking with Jerry about last week while he was on his vacation (I flipped out about that ). Anyways, I've been working on a RPG/D&D initiative tracker for the iphone/ipod (does require OS 3.0). The program is called iNit, and it's an initiative tracker. It uses a d20 to roll init, so it will work for many RPGs. We're trying to get feedback from GMs, and we're wanting more ideas to keep it a living project as we move forward. There's only two of us working on it, but we're trying to really implement smart things that make the DM's life easier. I had been using fantasy grounds a lot, and when I finally gathered up a local group to play, I found that using pen and paper was waaaay too unweildy; hence my desire to create the app.
We know of one bug (when you set two things to the same initiative) and that should be rectified this weekend (post on Sunday, apple should approve Tues or Wed and the fix will go live; v1.2).
Please, if you take a code and redeem it, post which code you took here so others know it's taken, but also please leave me some feedback with what you think; that's the whole point of posting the free codes~
Options to include:
A count direction toggle (up or down)
A turn timer (each player has <set by user> sec to take their turn or a buzzer sounds OR just keeps track of each player's time taken)
Optional automatic tiebreaker resolution
Drag and drop bins for ready and delay actions
Screen turning functionality, where upright displays the full UI and list of initiative, with the current player's/npc's name larger and highlighted; sideways display shows two lists, left side is the initiative list and the right side is delayed and readied actions
What would make this program the absolute must-have gamer application would be if there was interconnectivity between phones, setting up a WAN that each participant could subscribe to, allowing them functionality on each of their turns and perhaps giving a "You're on deck!" warning when they're next up in the queue. You'd also have to incorporate functionality for multiple people on a single phone in case not every player has one.

EVE: Online - the most fun you will ever have not playing a game.
"Go up, thou bald head." -2 Kings 2:23
version 1.2 submitted today (look for it in 1-3 days on iTunes as an update)
- DRAG AND DROP initiative reordering while in edit mode
- Changed UI appearance
- Fixed a bug that made two characters with the same init value loop forever
- Added reset button
- Now supports Max HP and Current HP (bloodied players will have a red HP value)
- Fixed a bug in which some entries would roll an initiative of 0. (die parameters changed from 0-20 to 1-20)
All of these items are suggestions by the communities at Penny Arcade, ENWorld.org and the D&D Official Forums. Thank YOU for helping us keep this a living, breathing project!
I hope you all leave feedback once the release goes live!
1.2.1 has been submitted for review with Apple, bugfixes include making drag and drop initiative ordering work the way we had planned (correctly! ha!), and patching a memory leak that caused the app to crash when you had a large number of entries in the tracker.
2.0 should enter the testing stages in approximately 2 weeks. Savable party members, loadable encounters, a fixed drag-and-drop system and the fix for the bug for iPod touches requiring a microphone will be in this version. Also, maps and character tokens, if all goes according to plan, as well as a redesign of the UI.

There's really no catch, just would like some thoughts
