i had an adventure tonight
basically, ryan (humble) was all "i'm going to watch UFC tonight, what are you doing?"
and i was like "pffft that's lame, i don't know what i'm doing but i bet it's more awesome than watching UFC...what the fuck is UFC anyways? it always just looks like they're cuddling really hard on the ground to me...who's winning? can't tell, they're both having a pretty good snuggle"
and he goes "yeah right, i bet you'll do something lame"
so my best friend calls me and asks me to go on an adventure time.
and I of course said okay, and put on my little booties.
so we go wandering around, and there's a paul mccartney concert on tonight, but tickets cost 130$ so we just decided to go wander around outside the gates and see what we could see.
basically, the entire city of halifax showed up to do the exact same thing we did
but the thing is, a good friend of ours helped to set it up, so we give him a call, and he comes running out with free passes for all of us.
So I got to go watch paul mother fucking mccartney play hey jude with fire works going off and all sorts of crazy awesomeness for free while humble watched two sweaty men cuddle real hard on the ground.
what sort of awesome adventures are you all up to on this excellent saturday night?
oh he also played get back, and yesterday and ... man, it was a great concert.

if you ever wondered if paul mccartney can put on a good show, the answer is oh god yes he can
there was this girl in the front holding up a sign that said "please sign my arm"
and so he stops, and laughs about how he almost forgot the words to his song because he was reading her sign, so he pulls her up on stage, signs her arm, hugs her, lets her hug the rest of the band, then keeps going
such a cool dude.

he's a pretty good showman, all around.

my night was filled with working, then drinking alone because I did not feel like going to the bars and trying to get home while drunk, then crying during the last part of schindler's list
