What brand of router is your wired router? Wireless? I know in one of the front pages of the router (which normally is the IP: 192.168.1.1) it gives you the option to set it as a Router or a Gateway. If you select Gateway it allows you to send it to whatever else is plugged into it.
Note: I've never actually done this before I just read up on it because I was curious.
You could just plug a wireless access point into your wired router. This would be easier than adding a wireless router to your existing setup. If you were going to go buy a wireless router, you could use it to replace your existing wired router, since it would have wired ports on it as well.
