Cat Help

Yes I'm going to take her to a vet, but can't at this instant. My cat is behaving very strangely, first I found her under the couch she only goes under when she scared and then I noticed a trail of bits this white foam on the carpet, while I did not witness, probably came from her. Secondly I forgot to feed her this morning and she loves to eat so when I set her in front of her food bowl she just ignored it and while I was carrying she was noticeably more limp relaxed which never happens when she's picked up.
I know this is not much information but I was wondering if anyone could probably just tell what this might be between the vet and now.

She's also an indoor cat.

When are you taking her to the vet?

Well she's younger(ish) so I doubt she's dying (which was my first reaction, cats like to be alone and don't eat, much more relaxed when about to die). But that white foam, is that like... frothing from her mouth foam, or say, foam material?

If it's material I'd say vet ASAP, cause she may have ingested it, which is very bad.

If my cat had white foam coming from her mouth she'd be at the vet in minutes. Even young cats can die.

Ah, I am unfamiliar with animals foaming at the mouth so I didn't want to comment. But good point.

My dog vomited a mass of white foam just before she had an awful seizure and almost died. On the other hand, one of my cats will vomit foam up with her hairballs and is otherwise a healthy cat.

What I'm saying here is that there is no way to get a likely prognosis over the internet because there are a lot of things it could be. Given that your cat is also off her feed and "behaving strangely", the vet is definitely the answer. They'll poke and prod and probably do some blood tests.

    Well wishes for your kitty.

Yeah, sudden lack of appetite is definitely a danger sign, along with the other stuff you mentioned.

Just a couple weeks ago, one of my cats stopped eating, started hiding, acted angry when being picked up, etc. Turns out he had a urinary blockage, and had we waited even till later that night hoping he'd get better or trying to figure it out on our own, he probably would be dead now.

If you're reading this and you haven't brought the cat to a vet yet, please, go do so ASAP.
