Anyone notice the band name on the bass drum is in the clickwise style? Hmm...
It's in clickwise on the banner in panel 3 as well. I wonder if every automata in there is going crazy or just Carl? And if it's just Carl, how's he targeted?
Could it be that he has some kind of attachment to Regal? If the automata that killed the singers were somehow motivated by a combination of an activation code plus an emotional attachment to the singers, Regal could be the trigger. We know the Swangee men can 'feel'.
I was delighted at first when I saw the second panel, but then disappointed when I realized that the big robot had not, in fact, been serving as the object blocking the doorway, in the stead of a door.

Yeah, same here.
Also, when I saw the actual robot behind the door, the first thing that came to mind was

Yeah, same here.
Is it bad that the first thing I thought of when I saw the actual robot behind the door, was
"Nice Monkey suit"
"Wise ass"
Those were my exact thoughts.

I also love the last panel. You can see he's definitely struggling against the urge to pull the gun out. Even though it's just one word, I feel like his voice would definitely have some panic to it. As much panic as a robot could have I guess. Very effective.

I don't even know what 13/8 means
then you were all "ahahaha yes" and it confused me
it's a time signature
first number denotes how many beats are in a measure, measures being how notes in a song are divided, and it's usually 3 or 4 for the sake of simplicity
the second number indicates which kind of note will actually represent a beat, in this case the eighth note, although the quarter note is the norm
