Also, to anyone that saw the old threads, I fixed the issues with them. They should be fine now.
Also Chipper will kill you.
You mean like Nico from Runaways? :P
Vote for Phineas Rage! Munch for President!
...Oh hey I got two votes! Yay
But I'm going to be a jerk and say that it won't necessarily be for winners, but for my favorite entries, and I'll only ship in the continental US.
I'm going through a material possession purge and have a large number of books that I'll gladly spend the buck or two on shipping to get rid of. These books range from 'complete crap' through 'mediocre' all the way to 'novelly entertaining.'
Beware, this is just a ploy to make these contests entertain me more personally.
Here's what I like:
Pictures, mainly. and when you have them, don't hide them in spoilers. Seeing the picture should make me want to read the rest, not reading the rest making me want to open the spoiler tags.
Give me a pitch for the character, not a whole damned story.
Let me know who they are, why they do what they do and the bare minimum of what's necessary to get the character. Give me the lowdown on powers and the reason for their visual design. I'll also take a little on your inspirations and intent if you'd like.
If you can't give a picture worth a shit, make it as appealing as possible for me to read what you've written. Keep it brief, entertaining, and to the point.
The lowdown:
Munch's and TLB's both seemed like they could be great, but I'm too lazy to read them. Yak and Geebs' entries in the Supervillain poll both really appealed to me. I think with color, Geebs may have won me over because I liked his character and idea much more. However, I like the presentation of Yak's more.
Yak, if you're in the states and want me to mail you a prize, PM me your address and I'll do so.
screw blank
shit, man. I'm a dumb ole' country boy. This reading shit is hard. Why the fuck do you think I like comics?
less than a thousand words an issue.

going on the internet was a bad choice
going to work an even worse one
Thanks for the offer MS, but I'm a Canadian resident. For the first time in my life, I've been made to regret living here. Thanks. Thanks for that.
Donate it to some orphans. Or your local library. One or the other, not both, I want some resentment fostered between them.
What say you.
he would not enjoy anything with words
He'll manage
all of them are illiterate
they are orphans after all
who'd teach them to read?
their parents?
oh wait!
Yeah, I think next time around I'll do what Golden Yak did, and do a short comic, or at least try to keep my wordcount similar to one of those Marvel Handbook character profiles.
