As the thread title suggests, I'm looking for a 3-button finger-mouse to use with my laptop. If you don't know what a finger mouse is, here's a link: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2695 They're handy for working where you don't have some clean bench space, or room to stash a full size mouse.
The trick is, I plan to use this mouse for CAD, and the particular program I use requires a third button in order to rotate and pan. The mouse I linked to is two button, with a scroll wheel... there is no third button.
Is there anyone out there that can point me in the direction of one of these with a third button?
I've never seen a mouse like that before, cool idea. Does the wheel not have a click function? In the video it almost looks like it does, but I can't tell for sure. Worst case you could use a program to setup a keyboard modifier (or maybe one is already built in to the OS) that allows you to use one of the other buttons as a third button. I think AutoHotKey might be useful there, but I've never used it.
