slow internet after reformat?

Just reformatted my Samsung NC10 that was running on windows 7. It was running fine, I just wanted a fresh start. I easily achieved 1.5 mb/s wirelessly.

After the format it won't go above 20 kb/s.

I have NO IDEA why it is doing this.

Any ideas?

edit: ran spybot. Only one small problem.

I also have the latest drivers for the wireless card.

Any ideas?

Every other computer in the house is fine.
I'm getting: 616 ms ping
0.41 mbps

on ADSL2

    And if you move closer to the AP? Does it change? Might want to try a different channel for your AP. Also it might sound simple, but make sure you're connecting to the right SSID.

    And...it seems to have fixed itself. A whole day after it started...strange :S
