Tried to changed my default folder Icon picture to something else but now when I open a folder, itopens a new window without closing the old one. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Open one of the folders. Then, in the File menu, click on Tools->Folder Options. Click on the General tab. The second box should be Browse Folders. Put the bullet in the first option "Open Each Folder in the Same Window." Click Ok.

    That should work.

    Nope, the bullet is already there. I think i fubar'd something in the File type --} Advanced.

    try going back in, selecting the one you want and returning it to default? There is a set default button that will be usable with folders where you've made a change.

    That's the problem. In the settings there is an option called Set to default but that just makes the highlighted command the default one.
