I recently had a hankerin' for some classic space adventuring, so I pulled out Privateer and installed it. After a bunch of fiddling (turns out the version of DOSbox included in D-Fend Reloaded, doesn't work with it, but pointing it a bare DOSBox install of the current version works with no tweaking) I got to playing.
It worked for about a week, but all of a sudden, starting saturday morning, it won't stay full-screen. It's set to start FS, but as soon as the game loads it reverts back to windowed. If I Alt-Enter, it goes fullscreen for half a second then reverts again. I'd made no changes to my computer or my DOSbox settings. I did fix it temporarily by changing the resolution of the windowed mode. It didn't actually change the appearance,but it would stay fullscreen. But then it stopped working again last night.
Anybody know what's going on here? Google searching found me nothing useful.
